The "Friends of Evgeniya Pangelova" Foundation was established to transform the bright legacy Evgeniya left behind into tangible support for young athletes. Our goal is to distinguish children who combine the will to win with genuine human kindness. We believe that sport is the best school for building characters that will make our world more honest and meaningful.
A 20-Year Horizon
We are not looking for short-term results. The foundation is built with the future in mind, maintaining an investment horizon of over two decades. This financial stability allows us to plan sustainably and remain a reliable partner for young orienteering talents throughout their entire journey of growth.
Who Are We?
Behind the foundation is a small circle of Evgeniya's close friends and loved ones. We choose to work quietly and remain in the background, as we believe the true focus should be on the children and their actions. We are simply the conduits of the energy and integrity she carried within her.
Operating Principles
Direct Support: The foundation's resources are directed strictly toward supporting training camps, equipment, and athlete development.
Minimal Bureaucracy: We believe in simplified processes and a lack of unnecessary formality. We use modern technological solutions that allow us to invest our energy in the cause rather than in paperwork.
Transparency: Every resource invested in children's development is allocated based on our objective assessment system.
