„Character is not measured by a stopwatch.“
For us, athletic achievements are only half the journey. The true meaning of sport lies in building character. That is why we created a model that balances the professional perspective of the coach with the honest assessment of teammates.
The award is formed by two primary sources, ensuring objectivity and depth:
60% – The Voice of the Team: This is recognition from within. Through the “Friend” card, every athlete can share a gesture of willpower, honesty, or support. No one knows an athlete better than the people they share the track and challenges with every day.
40% – The Coach’s Assessment: This is the mentor's perspective on discipline, persistence, and sports ethics. The coach evaluates not only results but also the attitude toward the process and the team.
The system is active throughout the annual competitive season. It is not limited to a specific race but covers every moment – from daily training to official starts in the forest.
This model of continuous observation allows small but significant gestures to be noticed, which often remain hidden from the public but build the team spirit.
Observation: Children look for displays of good character throughout the season.
Sharing: Each gesture is registered anonymously via the “Friend” card.
Assessment: At the end of the season, the votes are summarized and combined with the coaches' expert assessment.
Recognition: The award is given to those who have shown they are not just good athletes, but true human beings.
